Mr Windsor went for a colonoscopy today. The news is not good. No pathology yet...but best case surgery will be required for polyps that couldn't be removed during the procedure.

I'm working from my post anesthesia husband's account...I will speak to the Dr. on Friday when the pathology is back. I did have the report read to me by the nurse...don't think that didn't take some arm twisting even after Mr. Windsor consented. In the mean time I am about to become a layperson expert on polyps and colon cancer...my stress is relieved by information (and I have the good sense to know what sites to find good information on).

Drs. either love me or hate me. Those that wish to act like their words have come down from the mount on a tablet and think they are all that and a bag of chips hate me. Those that appreciate informed patient who ask intelligent medical questions tend to love me. A question is not a challenge, it is a request for information. Anybody want a dissertation on the types of polyps?

Sending major ass vibes for a good pathology report.

When I was 26 I had polyps removed and the path report indicated they were precancerous. Hopefully, Mr. Windsor's path will be similar. Keep on those doctors. Patients and family are part of the medical team just as much as they are.
