AD, mostly I've lurked and tried to give reputation points. I don't think I've commented but twice since the change.

When I was a kid, we had to visit both my dad's stepbrothers every Christmas Day. Visiting Uncle Ken was fun. We drank Cokes, played with fun toys, and one year there was even a puppy! At Uncle Jimmy's, there was no fun, even though his kids were closer to my age than Uncle Ken's daughter. There were never puppies, no Cokes, just impersonal discussions in an uncomfortable setting.

That's the way I feel about here v. there. My friends are here . If I PW or cuss or go off target, no one is critical. Over there, there just isn't the friendliness. I'm always afraid I will figuratively spill a drink on the Queen Anne couch, or something.
