Ah, high of 99 forecast for Raleigh for 6/23 and 6/24. I just love July and August in June :| .

You need to contact DevilAlumna who lives in Seattle.

Maybe she can help with your luggage. :(( Good luck.

Thanks DD. If I can get online tonight instead of just using my blackberry, I will do that. This is a family visit so my time is sort of limited.

This is the time of year I regret living in North Carolina.

I didn't finish work and walk outside tonight until 8:30. It was getting dark, and I assumed, cooler. I assumed wrong.

I forgot that NC doesn't stand for "Northern California."

One of the things I love about California summers is that when the sun goes down, it cools off.

The temperature on the 6pm news didn't look too bad. Then they put up the heat index numbers - they all had 3 digits. :Boo:

We have been at Kerr Lake since Saturday, came home today. Yes, it was HOT. It may have been a little cooler there. No rain there or here. I'm hoping for rain in the next few days.

Buggs Island is appropriately named.

Time to make the doughnuts. It's soooo much fun to be out crawling over my portable monkey-bars in 100 degree heat!

There's your problem. Don't wear your sunglasses outside. Then just your eyes will fog up. :D

The weather was so nice here that I've left the windows open since yesterday evening. I'll leave them open tonight too!
