Struggle is the operative word.
I hated every single stinking minute of law school--especially my first and second years. Third year was more tolerable, but that was because I was doing my clinical practice, and I got to go out and represent real people in court under the 3rd year practice rule.

YmoBeThere wrote:From over yonder: "He’s also halfway through law school." Lee Melchionni is a year into law school. I thought law school was a six semester journey if you did everything "right" and finished on time. Or am I being too literal this early in the morning?
Ok, now that I'm home skipping church and on the laptop, I saw the article over yonder and can comment.
The article itself says Lee is attending part-time law school at night. I believe the law schools that are part-time require four years of hell, I mean study.

I enjoyed b-school, but then I didn't go somewhere with a reputation for putting it's students through hell. There were washouts in the first mod and semester(mod = 1/2 semester)...but they were relatively few.

I ate dinner with DukePA and Stevo last night...we need to get that man to a Brunchgate. He's an awesome grill cook! Sooo tasty..and we had several brews to drink as well, the Ymm, beer inhabitants would have enjoyed the selection.
Duke born, Duke bred, cooking on a grill so I'm tailgate fed.

Oh dear, my condolences. It's sad to see someone so promising with that sort of affliction....

Having met Stevo, he's a good guy. His tendency to the lighter shade of blue is a fault but it is a minor flaw in his case.
Life is good!

I'm getting a new water heater today!
The plumber has only made 10 visits on the warranty since New Year's Day. I finally convinced the warranty company that it was cheaper to install a new water heater than to pay the plumber to come out and make regular repairs. Of course, by now, the existing water heater is almost entirely rebuilt. . .
I'm also getting the guy to install a ceiling fan in my breakfast room today.
