So, have we learned about the big ding dong yet?

Is it Rod Stewart? He's moving like he's in pain.

"you really show your age."
Rod was painful on that lyric, but was better toward the end. Still, sad.

"We Are The Champions" really highlights the differences between Adam and Kris. Adam's voice is incredible. Kris's voice is a little thin in comparison.

I really like the way they've chosen one of the Duke Basketball theme songs for their finale.

Here we go. . . I'm so nervous!

I only squeezed in 2 calls for Adam last night. All circuits were busy.

My heart is beating so fast. Oh my!

100 million votes!

The winner of AI 2009 is KRIS?????????????????????????

CRAP.

How awful is that song Kris is singing?

(Didn't watch any of it, though.)

It was a lame song, and to make matters worse, Kris was straining to reach the upper notes.

They always choose lame songs for the final round of competition.

I liked David Cook's song but didn't like the others.

Well, it's happened. I have rooted for exactly two Tarholes in my life, Marion Jones and Anoop Desai. The first one came back and bit me in the ass. I hoped Anoop wouldn't let me down. Sigh. Saw the Idols on Larry King Live (Ryan Seacrest was subbing for Larry) last night. My mom called me up and told me to turn it on. I did. There were Adam and Kris being incredible, true gentlemen. They went out of their way to bring up the subject of Kara. They talked about how gracious she was, about how much they enjoyed getting to work with her in rehearsal on 'No Boundaries' (yes, the song sucks) and then Anoop spoke about her. You could tell he was still seething about some comment she made during the season. He barely remained civil about it and then he said it, "Besides, she went to Duke." Completely inappropriate comment for the venue, Anoop, and very stupid. Ryan giggled and moved on. Yep, no one from Duke could possible know anything as regards his talent. Asshole frat boy to the core.
The time is out of joint, O cursed spite!
