Nope; that's just the summer 'do. It's become something of an annual occurrence the last three years or so, and I don't intend to change that anytime soon...I love it.

Thanks! They're just $12 cheapies from one of those mall carts, and they're sort of falling apart, but I've enjoyed them enough that I'm kind of thinking I want a nice pair. In keeping with much of my wardrobe, they're just a little bit short of ridiculous.

I love the shirt! Speaking of Tonka tough, my 3 year old has been begging me for this bike:

You should get the big guy version of this bike to ride around while wearing your shirt!

The town I grew up in until the age of 10 had a Tonka factory and they used to throw out all kinds of toys (when the paint jobs weren't up to snuff, etc.) into large bins outside. We would head over every weekend and help ourselves to whatever we wanted. After some piecing together with parts from other toys (wheels, etc.) we had all the perfectly functional Tonka toys we could handle. It was awesome!

Oh. My. Gawd. That's the freaking coolest thing I've ever heard. I would have loved that.

My mother is one of those who, whatever the opposite of packrat is, that's her (the woman gave my baseball glove to Goodwill, for crying out loud!!! ~x( ). But we've established a very explicit understanding that she doesn't touch my planes, trains, and automobiles, as it were. I still have a nice stable of the big honkin' Tonka vehicles, as well as easily 500 Hot Wheels, awaiting my children. If I have all girls, I'm gonna raise them to play with cars and trucks anyway.

Heh...you should see my dimples when I am smiling. ;) :-* I gotta say, those dimples have served me quite well over the years (and they continue to do so). And thanks all for the compliments, as well as the input in the shirt selection!

Imagine how much money you could have made as a kid if they'd had eBay back then! ;)

I played with Hot Wheels and Tonka trucks all the time as a kid!
