Re: LTE 2.0
Working late putting together some web apps for EPA's air, water and soil monitoring stations in response to the oil spill. We'll have stuff up by Monday. I'll post some links for everyone. I need to go to bed now.

Re: LTE 2.0
Dawn, Mark, Max and Max's friend, Davis, went to the Duke/uva baseball game yesterday at the DAP. Sorry to say, Duke was blown away but Max and Davis had a great time anyway. They got their shirts autographed by MP1, A. Dawkins, R. Kelly and S. Curry and 1 baseball player, who seemed reluctant to sign the baseball. Someone came up to Mark and Dawn & told them the players are very much discouraged from "mingling" with the patrons after a game they lose because the coach is so pissed off. This is sad. I'm sure the player was also pretty down because they got beat so bad.
Yesterday was Young Iron Duke Day. I'm glad Max and Davis had a great time, regardless of our baseball coach.

Bjornolf, so sorry you and your family have been sick this week. Vibes everyone is one the mend and feeling better soon.bjornolf wrote:cl15876 wrote:Glad to hear you're feeling a lil better! Vibing and praying for you and your family bjornolf!bjornolf wrote:Good Morning, all.
Feeling a little less today. All three boys in the house (including me) came down with a stomach bug night before last. My younger son started up around 2:00, my older son started around 3:30, and I started around 4:15. We all spent all day yesterday lying in my bed cuddled up together, watching TiVo between frantic runs to the bathroom. Hopefully, today will be better. I went through all three stages yesterday... Afraid I was gonna die, sure I was gonna die, and worried I WASN'T gonna die. ;)
Looks like the wifey has come down with it now.

Umm, okay. We had some 9+inches of rain in the last 36 hours. Lexington is officially in a flood emergency. Most schools south of here are closed tomorrow. Lexington has yet to decide.
As for us, we were doing fine until 1030PM, when our basement started leaking bad. We have a lot of water down there. Ycch!! Here's to hoping that insurance will come through.

Re: LTE 2.0
Do you have federal flood insurance? Hope so, because your homeowner's policy won't cover "rising water". It's always specifically excluded. A burst pipe or if the wind blows off your roof during a storm and rain floods from above, you're covered. Flood waters - nope. Good luck and stay dry. }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}Lavabe wrote:Umm, okay. We had some 9+inches of rain in the last 36 hours. Lexington is officially in a flood emergency.
