we were walking back to the main hotel and started crossing over a bridge around the pools and the lil pond and fountains that are all around and that also flow inside the hotel in the main lobby and as we started up the bridge... Jonathan and i are walking and talking and in mid conversation.....

and all of a sudden ... he's on my left side....

I hear a bammmmm, and I look and

he is laying on the ground (mind you he didn't slip because we were walking up a lil bridge arch)

are you okay, what happened?

its a goose .....

oh there it is ... in a concrete box of flowers alongside of the concrete hand rail.... a long black neck and head just peering around like a periscope

We are talking and walking and all of a sudden he hits the concrete like a sniper just shot at him and he just doesn't duck, he falls backwards and is laying on his back .....

he can't get up, I'm standing there trying to figure out what happened and if he's okay and I'm looking for a deadly goose in the dark.... with nothing around us .... then I see the goose's head and neck which might have been a foot away from him at the time of the drop zone (the stealth goose) and the goose and I now are looking at each other and then he just jumps off the ledge into the water (he knew I was going to come after him ) ..... now gone forever.....

I look ahead and my coworker is also laying on the ground.... what happened did the goose go after you also? No, I just P'd myself ..... OMG.....

unbelievable.... they both have known each other for many years so enjoy the opportunity to bust on each other...., but the story went forward as he gets up and starts hobbling forward, saying that I leg swept him and took his feet out from under him (the guy version) and Michelle (my coworker) just started telling everyone, Jonathan (an AF guy, not a true marine) got "goosed" and ended up flat on his back!!!!
