Re: LTE 2.0
If you were a woman, the words "happy dance" and "tampAx" would not be used in the same sentence. Happy is not the emotion that comes to mind.cl15876 wrote:LOL! I was wondering the same thing! Don't get me wrong with anything I'm about to say, because I love kids and they love me paternally speaking, OF COURSE! ;), but I initially had no clue what you were talking about and then it came on here in CA (3 hour delay) and it makes no sense to me either! I'm thinking further on the matter (for AD not manor ;-)) and it EITHER doesn't matter what your race is if the the blue or magenta infiltrate and YOU still need a tampex, hallelujah!!! OR All of us (regardless of race) can do the happy dance wave when the day comes that a tampex is needed (Now if either of these thoughts are correct, that is a topic that can generate alot of moral discussion, IMHO) so not going there. BUT THAT WAS Still a VERY STRANGE THING for that girl to say and MAYBE THAT WAS THE marketing/advertising GENIUS behind it. BECAUSE I know I wasn't paying any attention at the time, but when I heard the words "racially ambigious", THEY CAUGHT MY ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY, I stopped and looked up and was presented with some Victoria Secret model all in white (purity) talking about tampex.... humm, as Usul would say..... "that was a wasted 3 minutes plus the pondering I've done since ... of my life, that I will never get back!"Lavabe wrote:Will someone please explain the Tampex commercial I saw last night on Idol... the woman goes through her script. I understand being dressed in white. But WHY did she state, in the ad, that she is "racially ambiguous?" WHY did that matter in a Tampex commercial?
BTW, it's not a TampAx commercial. Rather, it was a Kotex commercial.

I hope you can get your wish. It is a great experience for participate in youth sports when they are in a league or school that encourage good sportsmanship and good basics of the game. Also, parents who don't make an ass of themselves.cl15876 wrote:I love baseball also! I hope my lil man plays! He definitely has the blood talent! Bud had a dermatology appointment today. Only 2 places were removed. Hopefully, the melanoma is dormant for awhile.

I correctly picked two out of the three.CathyCA wrote:My Bottom 3: Siobhan, Didi, Katie
Siobhan wasn't in the bottom 3 (go figure), but Tim was instead.

Good Morning. I noticed I have the little VIP thing on my name. Why is that? How did I get it? I'm far from the biggest poster around here. Does it just rotate randomly or something?
Whatever. I love it! I'd like to thank God for giving me the skill to win, my wife and kids for their support through this, my mom for her inspiration, my dad for always pushing me to be better, and my friends at CTN for making me the post whore I am today. I'd like to thank the... Oh, they're blink the little light and giving me the throat slash sign, so I'll leave it at that. Thanks guys! ;)

I don't remember which one of it was saying we would reach 20,000 last night. Apparently we were all too tired. I know I was.
