Lee and Andrew will survive, but they have great potential to go out sooner, rather than later.

AI Review #8: Lee DeWyze

Treat Her Like A Lady. I loved the intro of only Lee and the acoustic guitar. I would have liked horns in the accompaniment when the band joined in. Lee has a great voice. He kind of reminds me of a contemporary Tom Jones.

Casey was a knockout with Sam & Dave.

Also, Lee sang well... but I'm getting Taylor Hicks flashbacks.

I disagree. Tom Jones had a tude. Lee hasn't shown me much of that. But still, a good performance for him.

But sorry, he reminds me WAYYYYYYYYYYY too much of Taylor Hicks (remember him?).

Crystal should be the winner. She's in a league by herself. She also needs to win the competition so that she can go to see my magician, er dentist, Dr. Prawat.

MAN! I love this song. I love her rendition! I loved having her behind the piano, but I really enjoyed it when she stood up and just SANG it! I got serious chills hearing Crystal sing it. I would pay to hear her in concert.

I wonder if I could get my hair to do dreadlocks. Crystal is going to start a huge trend.

Vocal quality = Tom Jones

And maybe a little Taylor Hicks, but Taylor was a goofball. I don't think that Lee is a goofball.

I wish she wouldn't have done the piano, but only because I wanted to sing the full version of the song. You nailed it Cathy... I also got those serious chills. WOW!!

Ain't No Sunshine. The kid is only 16. He looks 16, down to the plaid shirt, hoodie jacket and torn jeans. He sings like he's much older. I like him. Nice sustained notes. He'll go places, but he won't win this competition.
