I'm glad it has been quiet here - I only had 4 pages to catch up on since my last visit. Limited, intermittent internet access sucks!

I either cracked a rib or tore some cartilage coughing last night during the game. I cough less because it hurts too much when I do.Miles wrote:How are the lungs?OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I'm glad it has been quiet here - I only had 4 pages to catch up on since my last visit. Thanks. I don't think the rib is cracked - it hurts, but not THAT much.wilson wrote:Jeez, dude. Vibes for recovery.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I either cracked a rib or tore some cartilage coughing last night during the game. I cough less because it hurts too much when I do.

Take two Tylenol tablets with two beers. You'll feel better.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I either cracked a rib or tore some cartilage coughing last night during the game. Paging DukePA, DukePA to the LTE...CathyCA wrote:Take two Tylenol tablets with two beers. You'll feel better.
It's a VERY bad idea to combine beer (or any kind of alcohol) with acetaminophen (a.k.a. Tylenol). Causes liver damage at best, death at worst. Seriously. If you have alcohol in your system you should stick with aspirin.
Healing vibes to Ozzie!

Sad news. Just found out my friend Clare from Duke's dad died, aged 62, apparent heart attack. Her brother was killed in a car wreck while we were in school. And her sister just had a baby a week ago. Must be a hard time for her family.

That is sad. She's lucky to have you as her friend for the support she'll need in the weeks ahead of her.DukeUsul wrote:Sad news. Thank you AD! You are right. Besides, Tylenol is not an anti inflammatory agent, only an analgesic with the potential for liver and kidney damage especially when combined with al-kee-hol!ArkieDukie wrote:Paging DukePA, DukePA to the LTE...CathyCA wrote:Take two Tylenol tablets with two beers.
