So apparently, PETA were a little vocal at the Westminster Dog Show last night.
A Scottie won. Wilson, do you agree with the choice?

Re: LTE 2.0
The decided sentiment in the room I was sitting in during judging for Best in Show was that as long as the stupid toy poodle didn't win, we could be cool with it. My two favorite group winners were the Doberman out of the working group and, of course, the French bulldog out of non-sporting.Lavabe wrote:So apparently, PETA were a little vocal at the Westminster Dog Show last night.

Sadie is a good-looking gal too, though.

We are a community founded in a quest for friendship, individuality, freedom of expression and love of all things Duke. Therefore we strive to be lightly regulated, but we have some basic guidelines, that if followed, will keep us as the great forum we want to be.
1. Respect your fellow members. Please refrain from personally attacking anyone in the forums. Think about what you write. In the end your words reflect more upon you, not the member you are addressing. If you DO have issues with another member's post, question what they have written and their ideas, but don't attack them as an individual.
2. Keep to the topic originated in the thread. If you have an entirely new idea, either create a new thread or post in the LTE 2.0. (Longest Thread Ever, 2nd edition). If a posted thread starts to veer off topic, the mods might have to intervene, and that means they have to get out of their chair. They sit in comfy La-Z-Boys and are happy not having to get up.
3. We enjoy reading random thoughts from all of our members, but we do discourage discussions of public policy. These discussions include those of religion and politics. Since they tend to be highly volatile, these threads would foster heated debates in which otherwise social graces are abandoned. Any threads of political and/or religious nature will be closely monitored and subject to closure without warning.
4. Our moderators work on a rotating basis. At some point you might get designated to be one. Respect what they do, but if you have an issue with any actions, send a private message to ALL the mods in the current rotation. They can then look at the situation as a team, not individuals.
5. Have fun. This really is rule number one, but if it's posted last, you are likely to remember it the best .
GO DUKE!!!
Then we won't be able to recruit any big men here.

True story.
I just flipped past Rachael Ray. She has a dude on her show, author of What's Your Poo Telling You? and What's My Pee Telling Me?. He brought with him jars of colored liquid meant to simulate various hues of pee, as a means of entry into a conversation as to what pee color can tell you about your health.

Re: LTE 2.0
This couch totally looks like something Jake (DPA's brother, VDB's son) would have done. It was on Scrubs.
Don't know what kind of car it was, and the picture doesn't show the whole couch..but it has fins so I'm guessing Caddy of some year.

Re: LTE 2.0
Someone who is going to the VT game just asked me if they need to get there very early. I told them they shouldn't have trouble, even if they only come fifteen minutes ahead of time. Seeing as I haven't been to a boatload of games in Cameron, can you guys confirm that? From what I've seen lots of people show up five minutes before tip-off.

Re: LTE 2.0
If they are talking getting to Duke 15 min. early, then have to park, they would miss a lot of game. Being @ CIS 15 min. before the game would be OK. We like to get there about 30 min. before game time. We like to see whats going on before the game, especially before an ACC game. Hope this helps.Rolvix wrote:Someone who is going to the VT game just asked me if they need to get there very early. Re: LTE 2.0
Thanks guys! That's what I meant (getting to CIS 15 minutes early). I definitely didn't make that clear to my friend though.
