Ohhh, hahahaha...other stuff from the DVR. That was just a random stray link. Sort of like the name chanting, not enough of it here.

ArkieDukie wrote:~O) Morning, all! I have to be at church at 9:15 - the handbell choir is playing today. Could be a train wreck.

Filled out my taxes yesterday and found out that I'm getting a HUGE refund. (And, yes, I'll fix my withholding so that doesn't happen again!) Now comes the big decision: what to do with the big refund? New home theatre system with high-def tv, surround sound, and blu-ray player? Macro lens for my camera? A big vacation (something I've never done before)? Put the money in savings? Decisions, decisions...
I say make sure you plan a mini-va-cay to include a Brunchgate!!! You will not have to book a hotel. Many will be more than happy to share our homes with you! Shoot, we'll even fight over who gets to roll out the red carpet for ArkieDukie!!

Both of my returns were just accepted. Wondering how long before the money hits my checking account.

Those guys at Sharebuilder took full advantage of the extension put out by the IRS. I actually have an account there too but all my transactions there were 1099-B. I can duplicate those without the form.

To add insult to injury, I got my W2 from my old job, where I was screwed out of 6 weeks vacation pay, and it's wrong. They're claiming I made $7,700 more than I did. Now I have to get it corrected. I want to be done with it all and really move on.

If new power disc brakes for the '68 Firebird can be considered fun, why yes. I'll probably get some toys for the cats too. But the rest will end up in either my savings or brokerage accounts or both.

Mom found my newest tattoo today. As expected, she dislikes it. At least that's out of the way now.
Wonder if this process will get any easier with the next one? :-? :-\ :-??

Or, you could file a Form 3949A with the IRS and send the old employer in to a new kind of hell with the IRS. :ymdevil: :ymdevil: :ymdevil: :ymdevil: :ymdevil:

I'm sure DinK knows more about this, but I'm enjoying the idea of your making the old employer jump through all kinds of hoops.

Work to do, check.
Motivation, uncheck.
At least there's no football or other sports to further dis-motivate me.

I don't mind waiting (too long)..they have a nice function that exports everything straight into my Turbo Tax and that makes it worth waiting for.
