Good morning, all!

You're up early, Tilly. Bad night?

I was thinking about this last night, but it's sort of gonna be an all New Orleans Super Bowl. You've got the Saints, of course, but you also have the crown prince of the New Orleans sports royal family, Peyton Manning, playing for the title. The Big Easy wins either way. If the Vikings had won, you'd STILL have a New Orleans favorite in the game, Brett Favre. Interesting. It was a good weekend for New Orleans' sports stars.

And Tilly, what's wrong with the Colts? I think Peyton Manning is one of the most likable guys in pro sports, and that the Colts are one of the classier franchises in the NFL.

Bwahahahahhaha. "Classier franchises", you've got to be kidding me. A classy franchise wouldn't move a team out in the middle of the night, nor renege on their promise to give the name Colts back to Baltimore.

OK, first of all, I agree that moving a franchise, especially under the circumstances in which Irsay did it, is not the most admirable thing to do.
But two things: First, that was more than a quarter century ago. Bygones and all that.
Second, the story is far more complicated than you seem to allow. For instance, at the time of the move, the city of Baltimore was threatening to seize the franchise via eminent domain. The Orioles didn't help the situation either. To read that simply as a black-and-white situation really isn't fair.
