Why is bjornolf always up at the buttcrack of dawn?

On the schedule today: watching ball and finally taking down Christmas decorations.

As I was leaving to go to church this morning I discovered that the battery on my gate opener was dead. Since I don't keep 9V batteries lying around, I had to wait for someone else to leave so I could go out the gate when they did. I had to buy batteries before coming home from church so I could get back into the lot. =))

I think I identified your problem. You had the wrong batteries. You need those 9F batteries. :)) =))

We are all exhausted from the brutal pounding we took from the deacon goons last PM. Some of us needed xrays and extra hydration (see Ymm, Beer later today ;) :D ).

~O) Morning, all! That game was, indeed, very physical. As devildeac pointed out in the basketball thread, it seems like we got called for touch fouls and Wake had to really mug someone before it would get called. Well, except for Andre taking down Chas McFarland. I enjoyed that a lot, especially after Chas took down Zoubs (or was it Miles?) and the idiot refs called a double foul. At least Z drug the thug down with him. No telling what he did to Andre to warrant the take-down.

Looking forward to the State game on Wednesday, hoping that we'll get to see real basketball and not the WWF version we've had for the last couple of games.

I fell asleep, unfortunately, and my TiVo quit on me with about 1:26 to go (I told it to record 15 minutes long, which is usually plenty barring overtime, but I guess with all the fouls called, it took longer). Anything interesting happen in the last minute or so?

I just looked at 31 pics from last night's Golden Globes, and only recognized half the stars in the photos.
