Yea, but that won't keep until February or May...

Didn't feel comfortable putting, and had a lousy stroke doing it, but the greens are painted green and the grass hasn't grown since early November. This "green painting" is a new theory to hopefully have better greens during the summer, instead of planting some winter grass that will grow and be naturally green most of the winter. It seems to be working pretty well so far.

Glad to hear you had a good day. This year was the first in a while that I didn't hit the par 3 on January 1st. For a number of years in a row now, it's been very nice; a couple of times I went in shorts. Does the "paint" contain fertilizer like that "as seen on tv" grass in a can?

No, I think it's just paint.

Kentucky has made a habit of coming back and/or getting tough in the end. They might do well until March..but that game doesn't work in tourneyworld. I see an early upset for them; if we are a number 2, I want Kentucky's bracket.

ESPN has an announcer swap announced this week, with Dick Vitale calling an NBA game instead of Wake/Holes.
WISE move!

It's been pouring non-stop since the early hours this morning. Not sideways, just straight down and heavy. Bummer, we were gonna go to the flea market, now it's a good day to stay inside and talk crazie. Tea time!

Yep. I'm finishing my first mug of tea and plan to down at least 5 today to drown this stinking cold while the rain drowns the beach! I am so glad I don't have to leave the house or even step foot outside until Tuesday morning. Ahhhh, my first MLK day off since I don't know when!

Think the Holes will rise in the rankings? After all, they DID lose twice in one week. ;)
