There was an act of moderation?!? Way to break a well established trend Ozzie...

That's true...it's hard to call your chair a La-Z-Boy if you actually get out of it to do something.

It's late...it was a really good evening. Duke wins by a lot, holes lose by a lot, and I got to drink good beer. See y'all tomorrow. G'night, Gracie.

You're young and single while Ozzie is older and married. Shouldn't you be getting more action than him?
Rolvix is a young, inexperienced whipper-snapper. I'm a wily veteran and can get down right cantankerous at times! When the game is on the line, give me Laettner every time, not the hotshot (soon to be) frosh.

Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

If the day ends with a presser announcing that Cutcliffe is staying at Duke it will be the perfect ending.

Well about an hour or two before tipoff, my cable box died. Rather than heading up to the pub to watch the games, we stayed in and enjoyed a television-free evening. Duke wins, Carolina loses. I may have a new superstition when Duke and UNC play the doubleheader.
wilson, how did the lucky lady handle the first lost?

Yep, Tilly and I are lovin' us some Clemson tigers this am. Blue Devils spears some BC Eagles last night, Tigers toasted on some rams, and all is right with the world!
Side note to remember....
We beat Clemson, Clemson beat up the Carowhiners, the case remains..... DUKE RULES!!!

Y'all have awakened a sleeping giant! No warnings issued, but I've locked my first thread! And no Bud Light was consumed in the process!
In fact, the beer of choice for the evening was a couple of
Howls by Magic Hat at Tyler's Tap Room with DD before the game. He'll be reviewing the brewski.
That would be
a couple of Howls by Magic Hat .
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

FYI, I am momentarily in Foscoe delivering some baby "stuff" that the youngin's left at our house when they left on New Year's Eve day. It wouldn't fit in their vehicle, but it did in our minivan. So rather than wait and bring it up in a couple of weeks when we are rushing to get up here when we get "the call", I brought it today. 4 hours up, 4 hours back. What a dad will do for his daughter (and future granddaughter!).
Also wanted to check and make sure no one is misbehaving on the boards...
