No, you forget that Scott is often paired with Verne "I hate Duke" Lundquist. X(

Yes! I love the Olympics, when do they start? January or February? My favorite is the boblsed, and while I think figure skating is pretty boring altogether, when it's done at that high level of talent and skill it's fascinating.
February 12-28.

Oh yeah... they're in Vancouver, BC... in CANADA!!

I hear it's really cold in Canada. :)) =)) =)) =)) :)) :))

I have a kitten who enjoys being petted between 4 and 5 am every morning. The first few weeks when she couldn't get on the bed it wasn't an issue.
Does she help with your insomnia?
Haha, yeah...I think she is the cause of it.

Yep, looking forward to the Olympics. I like the hockey, the bobsled/luge, and some of the skiing. My wife likes the figure skating. She still tells the story about how I tortured her last time. She was REALLY sick with the flu. She was lying in bed watching QVC. I came in to see how she was, and I sat with her for a while. I was looking for some Olympic coverage for her, and the only thing I could find was curling. I switched it over to that. A few minutes later, I left, leaving the remote on my nightstand. She sat there watching curling for four hours, not having the energy to crawl to the remote. She still gives me trouble for that, saying that was spousal abuse, pure and simple.

I love curling. It is the only sport that will let me dream that I, too, could be in the Olympics. Of course, I need to learn how to curl. But there was someone over a decade older than me on the US team last Olympics, so I could do it.

Who exactly are the big powers in curling, other than Canada?

TillyGalore wrote:I used to really enjoy watching the Olympics. But, the good stuff is on late, and there are soooooo many commercial breaks that now it's not fun anymore. Plus, the skating announcers talk, talk, talk throughout each performance, and make negative comments when a skater falls. They too have ruined the experience for me. I wish I could mute the announcers.
Over Yonder there was a discussion about how you could mute announcers for basketball games in Surround Sound. Supposedly it would just leave arena sounds. Wonder if that would work for figure skating. BTW, I totally agree about the announcers.

Is there a curling team? Could we, perhaps, form a CrazieTalk curling team?

Must get some soup.
Olde School... ;) :D
When should I try the "Olde School"/Oatmeal Stout samplings of CBaB?
Olde School-divide it into four-three ounce servings (or three-four ounce servings) and have it as a nightcap (not wear it as a nightcap) the next few nights.

Oatmeal Stout-have it for dessert tomorrow night. With a chocolate chip cookie or a brownie.

I told Lavabe in chat that was going to be mine tonight, but I changed my mind. I think I'm going to hold on to that one, like the two 120 minutes I have, for a good victory this season.

It was pretty cool, he put Burt Reynold's Bandit and the Duke Boys to shame.

But didn't beat Bond's car stunt in "The Man With The Golden Gun."
