Toss up between two others:

WARD CLEAVER (could get away with a lot with him as a dad) :ymdevil:

and

GEORGE JETSON (that would be a COOL household to live in) :-B

Cordell Walker, or really any character played by Mr. Chuck Norris. Then some of his bad assedness would be mine, and I could have things said about me like "he doesn't do push UPS, he pushes the earth DOWN." Yea baby! :-bd

I purposely left Ward Cleaver off the list because I always had a gut feeling that off the camera he beat the living hell out of his wife. Just a gut feeling.

As for George Jetson, well, yeah, cool household but as an adopted son (not blood related), I would be too tempted to bed Judy Jetson. She was HOT!

You know, Ward Cleaver (Hugh Beaumont) in real life was an ordained Prysbeterian minister.
Bud Anderson (Father knows Best) was a raging alcoholic.
Al Bundy is my hero.

What? No Captain Kangaroo? I loved him!

THAT'S IT!
I believe one of the major problems with society today is a direct result from the retirement of Captain Kangaroo.
Ask anyone over the age where he was still active, what the magic words are and listen for their response.
So many of us 'older' folks were day-cared by this man, with his freaky moose and rabbit. (never could figure out Greenjeans) He did a great job of values teaching that many didn't get from school or I'd dare even to say, the church.
After he stopped, gangs went to flourish with violent crime quite prevalent.

Capt, both you and CathyCA have made a great addition! I agree with you!
