Gradually slip in to ingredients in small quantities and build up! If her nose and taste buds are anything like mine, I am almost embarrassed to say this as I love Mexican food and one of the main seasoning ingredients is cilantro, I don't particularly care for cilantro but will tolerate it and can smell it and taste it immediately. Depending on her distaste for and sensitivity to it, you may just have to give it up because she'll taste it and smell it on you!!!! Kind of like the chunky peanut butter!!!! ;)Lavabe wrote:How can I get ILJ to like garlic?

I used to think he was awesome, but he hasn't really been performing and I can't tell if it is due to the wonderful talents of the QB or if he really is losing it.Lavabe wrote:Randy Moss...

Ironically, they just said on the news this morning that they are at an all time low, Avg price per gallon here in DC is $2.61/gal. I 'm thinking I like the all time low when it was at $.75/gal. ;)Lavabe wrote:How are gas prices in your neck of the woods... before the Christmas driving season?

Re: LTE 2.0
When I started driving, the Hess station (Oakland Park Blvd. and US 441/State Road 7) was $.279 for regular, $.319 for premium. The Shell station where I got gas with my folk's Shell card was always 4 cents higher. Her Olds Toronado used premium, and the usual range for premium, depending on the price war with the Hess, was $.319 to $.399. Full service, oil check and windshield wash included. And then there was the time, when the gas was $.399, when the kid pumping the gas said "I sure hate it when I have to charge people $7 to fill up their tank." I remember his face as he said it, 38 years ago.cl15876 wrote:Ironically, they just said on the news this morning that they are at an all time low, Avg price per gallon here in DC is $2.61/gal. Gas prices in Smithfield are $2.58+. In Raleigh, or actually Garner, on I-40 at exit #312, Hwy 42, the new Murphry Express station has really driven prices down. They, and the two Hess stations up the street, are currently $2.359. Been as low as $2.269 3 weeks ago! http://www.raleighgasprices.com/

Re: LTE 2.0
There recently was an article in the St. Petersburg Fl. Times. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on: "How Would You Fix the Economy?"
I think this person might be on to something!
_____
Dear Mr. President,
Please find below my suggestion for fixing
America's economy. Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the "Patriotic Retirement Plan":
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:
1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings, - Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered, - Auto Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage, - Housing Crisis fixed.
It can't get any easier than that!!
P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress pay their taxes...
Mr.. President, while you're at it, make Congress retire on Social Security and Medicare. I'll bet both programs would be fixed pronto!
What do y'all think?

Request? Just start moving your things in as she takes hers out. Possession is 9/10ths of the law. It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.DukeUsul wrote:One of my coworkers is moving back to DC. I think I need to put in a request to get her window office when she leaves.
