Is anyone else bummed that Zach Braff is leaving Scrubs? Though this season started out poorly, I thought the past several episodes were pretty strong.
They've written the season finale so that the show can come back next year, but honestly, I'll be surprised if it gets picked up. JD made the show flow; without him and his interior monologue-ing, it just becomes a hospital-based sitcom.

While it was billed as a season finale, it reminded me more of a series finale. I can't see how they can do Scrubs without J.D. - especially without the monologue. But I guess they can get one of the other main characters to do it.

I hope it just goes away quietly. I LOVED the show, but without JD, it's just not the same. What are they gonna do, have a different internal monologue every week? Turk, then Kelso, then Carla, then Todd, then Janitor, then... well, you get the point. And how can they have Turk without JD? Turk just isn't as funny w/o JD, and vice versa.

And, while Perry is funny when attacking someone, he was always at his best when attacking J.D.

Just saw the finale, and I loved it. It would have made a GREAT finale for the show as a whole. I really like that they did that, so that if for some reason it isn't picked up, the fans still have a great ending. I loved the use of "book of love" at the end with the film montage. That was great.
