The Gobble, Gobble, Gobble race course was quite hilly. I didn't do so great, 45 minutes and change, I was hoping to keep it under 44. Oh well. I'm going to blame it on being unfamiliar with the course and not expecting so many hills. (And not wanting to wear myself completely out, I've got cooking to do!)

I got sucked in I'm sorry to admit. Yes, I went shopping on Thanksgiving Day. And not online. The savings on soda and deodorant were too good to turn down. Yeah, soda and deodoarant. :(

You saved! And I bet you're still going to eat a nice meal. What's to feel sad about? (Cooking break. Mr. BD is not cooking but he is cleaning the first round of pots before I start on the next dish.)

I like to most of my food shopping on T-day, becuase then we can finalize our menu and see what we have and don't have. It's beautiful today, so all 4 of us walked to the store instead of driving.

Green bean casserole in the oven. Sweet potatoes next. When Katie wakes up from her nap we'll be heading over to our friends with our dishes and a couplea bottles of wine. Not spending the day with the extended family, but we'll be with friends.

Just put in both of the same..but pulled them after two minutes because I think I'll have to add an hour to turkey time..at 150 now. Looks like dinner at 4 here now. (added corn on the cob to the smoker though)
