Re: Bunchgate 11/28 (Attendance and Menu)
Cowboy is supposed to be bringing his grill(s) too. I plan on cooking the steaks That is not a duty I entrust to someone else... Ask BON's and Cathy.
The plan is for ribeyes. I'll pick it (the loin) out on Wednesday afternoon and they will slice it into 1/2" steaks on Friday morning - about 7 to 8 ounces each, perfect for brunch! (I had abbreviated ounces, but I didn't want to slice Oz into 1/2 pound steaks ) I expect to have ~25 steaks, but it depends on, well, the size and shape of the loin.
Who is bringing the plastic ware? Was that part of TNT's stash, or someone else's? The steaks will be tender, but they will need to be cut, unless someone wants to make them into steak sandwiches. Oooo! I'll bring a loaf of rye bread for anyone who wants to do that!

Yes..we will need plastic ware, plates, cups. I will bring real knives for use at the grills. I also have a bunch of steak sauces I can bring...actually my wife would love if didn't come with them, I drive her crazy with my sauce collection.OZZIE4DUKE wrote: Who is bringing the plastic ware? Don't you dare bring steak sauces! These steaks will NOT NEED anything other than taste buds to tantalize! And I'm not talking Bud Light.CameronBornAndBred wrote: I also have a bunch of steak sauces I can bring

LOL!!! I believe you. I'll leave them at home, but my wife will be pissed at this failed opportunity for shelf space.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Don't you dare bring steak sauces! I think I'm coming on Saturday - have no idea what I'll bring (suggestions welcome). However, since Miles isn't coming and my sister is in Alexandria for the holiday, I have 2 extra tickets. Anybody need extras?

Re: Bunchgate 11/28 (Attendance and Menu)
Unfortunately, I'll be taking care of my dad on Saturday, so I won't be able to make it. I was really looking forward to the last brunchgate of the season, so I'm a bit bummed. I hope you all have the best 'gate ever, and I'll see you next year!
