Engaged on your birthday? Wow, hell of a present. Maybe he figured you couldn't say no on your birthday. ;)DevilAlumna wrote: We also got engaged on Nov. 20 four years ago, so we celebrated that portion of the day with a tasty bottle of syrah from Fidelitas vineyards near Yakima (we had Fidelitas wine on the night we got engaged, so try and have it for all 'couple-related' events.)
That's what I said - saw the highlights on the late Sportscenter - a perfect end to a great day!CameronBornAndBred wrote:Engaged on your birthday? Wow, hell of a present. I did have a good day - I was supposed to be in training at work, but it got canceled, so instead, I spent a fair amount of time talking with various coworker friends, and was able to attend a friend's farewell lunch, where the group surprised me with a birthday cake and singing! Then, Mr. DA took me out to dinner at my favorite fish restaurant (ymm, halibut on a yummy bed of israeli cous cous and fall veggies.) More birthday cake at home for dessert.
