Sounds like Mason fell in practice and fractured his left wrist (non-shooting hand)
"Mason took a hard fall in practice on Wednesday that resulted in the wrist injury," head coach Mike Krzyzewski said. "It was an unfortunate play but we are confident that he will make a full recovery. Mason is going to be a very good player for us and we look forward to him getting healthy and returning to the court."

Well that sucks..at least it's not his shooting hand but still. Hopefully he's back before January.

From what I've read as long as there is no ligament damage he could be back in about 6 weeks. It's not supposed to be as serious as Zeller's was last year (sidelined for 3 months)

That sucks but I'll bet he's in damn fine shape when he returns from the hours and hours he'll spend on the bike, treadmill, stairmaster and hardwood running "suicides" during his recovery. He can also work on his ball-handling skills, too.

Sounds like 4-6 weeks

****5 minutes later, it sounds like 2-3 weeks. Tomorrow it might be down to one week!

I hate when any kid gets hurt. When ever he does return, I hope its not too early.
