Thanks all! So far, so good. Got home about 10, got on the couch, fired up the netbook, and promptly fell asleep! Numbness has worn off and just took 2 Advil, almost more because I think I should rather than because I need to. Keeping far away from the Oxycodone unless I need to. Can't drive tomorrow if I'm taking it, much less enjoy Brunchgate offerings on Saturday!

Hope by now, the pain is still as manageable with just 2 ibuprofen. You must have a pretty high pain tolerance (or a severe loathing for drugs.) I routinely take 3 every 8 hours just for my usual back pain. Hope all heals well!

As I get ready to head to bed, I have had no additional pain, so no meds. I will take a couple of Ibu's for MY back, now that you've mentioned it...

And no, I don't hate, or avoid, pain drugs when needed (and the only recreational drug I take is Bud Light...), but I've heard about so many people get hooked on Oxycodone (or is it Oxycontin, or are they one and the same?), that I don't want to mess with it. Mrs. Ozzie says Oxycodone is basically similar to percocet, but some say there is a problem there, too. Now if I get a cough, give me codeine every time - nothing else works!
