Duke vs Carolina
If you want to attend the game in person instead of listen over the radio or try to find ESPN360, tickets are still available through the Duke ticket office as of this afternoon. The seat location is typical for our visits to this stadium..... the visitors' section almost looks as if it's behind the end of the field. You can park at either the Friday Center or University Mall and ride a shuttle for $5 round trip.
This has the potential of being an historic game for our program. Don't you want to be an eye witness?

I'll be there! I wonder if they let us tailgate in University Mall?Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:If you want to attend the game in person instead of listen over the radio or try to find ESPN360, tickets are still available through the Duke ticket office as of this afternoon. That's where I'll be parking..just don't feel like fighting traffic.

The Friday Center may be easier to get to than University Mall.CameronBornAndBred wrote:I'll be there! There are some areas designated for tailgating in the parking plan online.

I just cannot stomach going to kenan stadium for a game. I still have PTSD from a childhood filled with tarhole torment. Anyone up for having a few CrazieTalkers over to watch the game? I'm such a wimp that I can't even watch Duke play the holes in public. The last time was the men's game last Spring and it sucked.

Re: Duke vs Carolina
I've been to Kenan only two other times. Each time had its own unpleasantness doled out by their fans. I'm going this year because I believe this is a special game and I want to be an eye witness.DukePA wrote:I just cannot stomach going to kenan stadium for a game. Game time has been changed from 3:00P to 3:30P so the game can be telecast on ESPNU.

Re: Duke vs Carolina
The visitor sections in Kenan are all the way down at the open end of the stadium on the east side (I think it's the east side). Some stadium diagrams make it appear that parts of Section 100 are behind the back corner of the end zone. Guess that's so we can help the officials who may have limited vision of play in the red zone. Since we Dukies have become pretty familiar with that part of the field this year, we'll make ourselves right at home!devildeac wrote:I'll contact my "source" in the next day or two ;) .Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:I'll be in Section 100, perhaps mid way down.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Yay, got my seating confirmation from the ticket office, middle of section 101.

Re: Duke vs Carolina
To be fair, that's where most are. That's basically the same area I sat at Wake and GT last year, and that's where our visitors get to set. Of course...our visitors can usually sit anywhere they want...maybe not next year so easily though.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote: The visitor sections in Kenan are all the way down at the open end of the stadium on the east side (I think it's the east side).
