I've honestly stopped watching the first 162 games of baseball. Mainly a football and basketball guy.

I LOVE curling. It is so silly I just love it.

Is speed baseball a sport? It should be..like speed golf. And they should only allow one pitcher sub in a game of speed baseball. Give 'em a 15 second pitching clock.

The announcer on the skins-eagles game says "he waited until the very last second" to throw the flag. When is the very last second? How long does one have to wait until that applies?

I just had to shut down Firefox, since it had scooped up over 1GB of virtual memory.

We have to keep in mind that the main page only shows the number of replies to the thread so we have to add one extra post (the original one) when we are getting close so that we know
exactly when we have surpassed LTE 1.0. Speaking of that event, we should start a pool on who will be the one to do it. Or should we bequeath the honour to someone specific?
ETA: Anyone wanna check to see how many posts we've added to this thread today?
I'll nominate BD 'cuz she started all this frivolity over yonder or Ymo 'cuz he was predominantly responsible for the frenzy a few weeks ago and is the leading poster on LTE 2.0.

The LTE has proven to be a great diversion, but I'm going to finish up what I'm supposed to be working on. Hopefully I won't need to read another 7 pages of posts when I come back!
Looks more like 8 pages to me

I've changed my mind. The aftertaste of albuterol is more like the aftertaste of the third (gin) martini. Once you're on your third martini, that aftertaste starts to go funky.

For the small amount of kitchen counter space I had to reliquish, yes.
Totally. It is a re-heating/toasting/melting/browning tool in my house (not really a cooking tool) although my mother who is cooking for one has a larger one and has done two chicken breasts in hers and they have come out very well.

Which reminds me of what my Pa taught me when I was a wee lad.

I really wish the word martini hadn't been co-opted by inferior drinks. I look at martini menus at bars and there actually won't be a real martini on it.
Martini:
Gin
Dry Vermouth (optional)
olives
End of story
