Not supposed to mix prednisone and alcohol. So much for the whisky chaser on the albuterol.

Last year we had 3 trick or treaters. And we ate lots of candy the next day.

The one thing I don't like about toaster ovens..they are energy hogs..and for the most part it's wasted energy..not very efficient.TillyGalore wrote:

Re: LTE 2.0
Yup. We went to Ganyard Hills farm - on NC 98 betwixt durham and Wake Forest. Great place. We walked out into a full patch, and picked pumpkins right off the vines. They were in great shape. Perfectly round, nice orange color.
The next week we went to Hill Ridge farms in Youngsville with friends. While the rides/animals/crap were all bigger and more overdone than at Ganyard Hills, the pumpkins just sucked. They had stickers saying they were shipped in from New Mexico. Half of them were damaged. The were odd shapes. A lot were still green.

I beat Lavabe in our last game of Scrabble! Challenged to a game, but he hasn't played yet. , you shouldn't be too intimidated: although I have beaten Shammrog several times, I've only beaten Lavabe once in about a million tries and have never beaten wilson.

If you give us a running account of the game, the 400+ posts won't take more than a couple of hours, especially if you have Grapes calling the game.colchar wrote:Yep. We have a pumpkin carving party at our house every October - a bunch of friends we went to Duke with. This year my parents are also coming and one of our friends parents will also be there.
The first year we did this was 2004. I made a Boston "B" 2004 Champs pumpkin.

And the one guy skates up and he loses the puck.
The other guy skates down and oh his pass is stolen.
Shot on goal.... Miss!

Is it more or less efficient than a regular oven? I've often thrown something in the toaster oven to avoid heating up my regular oven. Is that a bad thing to do?CameronBornAndBred wrote:The one thing I don't like about toaster ovens..they are energy hogs..and for the most part it's wasted energy..not very efficient.TillyGalore wrote:

When I'm cooking for myself, I use the toaster to cook a piece of chicken instead of heating up the whole oven for one itty bitty piece of chicken.ArkieDukie wrote:Is it more or less efficient than a regular oven? One of my colleagues had a pumpkin carving party the year I was at W&L. One of the math faculty members carved a pi symbol from his pumpkin. Meaning, of course, that he had a pumpkin pi.DukeUsul wrote:We have a pumpkin carving party at our house every October - a bunch of friends we went to Duke with. They do all that in soccer, too. At least in hockey they beat the shit out of the other guy for stealing their puck.DukeUsul wrote: Here's why hockey sucks. The running account of the game would be:
