Brunchgate 10/24 Edition: Planning and Attendance

Anybody got a full rundown of the menu? I want to make sure my planned contribution still makes sense.

Tomorrow, if no one beats me to it, I'll consolidate the posts down to a roster and menus.

Wilson- Corn bread
VDB (+1)- Carrot cake, baked beans?
Tilly/K68- Apple slices and caramel/cream cheese dip, cookies, beverages
CathyCA/CLbunchof#s- (+?)- Cupcakes, Oatmeal Jiffy crunch bars, Broccoli salad, Mimosa/BM fixin's
Merry (+1)- ?
DD (+1)- Oriental Slaw, veggies & dip
TNT (+8)- Cinnamon-raisin swirl bread, Wings (two varieties), Whole beef tenderloin, sourdough bread, butter-pecan cookies

So, by this very loose count I've got 24 folks who will be attending. I'm certain I've missed someone and/or something so, give it a look-see and let's get it straight.

The brisket has been purchased and she's a beauty! 6.15 pounds, about 15" long and 8" wide, and closely trimmed with just enough fat to keep it moist and tasty! I bought an aluminum roasting pan to cook it in, transport it, and then put on the grill for re-heating on Saturday.

I guess we can reheat the rice the same way we heat the chili.

Just checking in on how this is going. Looks WUNNERFUL! DukeRah has been back in the hospital again since Saturday so she's doubtful, but Native and the O'l' Prof and I are planning to be there in time for the Devil Walk. I'm watching the menu and at this point it looks like my spinach/cheese/egg bake would fit in well with everything. (Sounds terrible, I know.....but trust me, it's GOOD) So I'll bring that and something else....don't know what yet... and some drinks to fill in.

Now, back to figuring out those buttons.

Of course, It wasn't my intention to overlook him. However, by his own admission he's going to tuck into that bad boy early so, I figured by gameday, there will be about one serving left ;).

Most assuredly. I think the CB will be great with the chili, brisket and the beef tenderloin. TNT has been good about listing all the dishes promised into 1 post a few days before the event.

I'm probably going to do an early run to Brunchgate to drop stuff off before Towerview is closed off. I'll come back home and gather the rest of my party.

As much as I think they'd look good, I don't think I'd make them BLUE deviled eggs. ;)
