According to Jacob Powers in his most recent email, there is a waiting list for those who now want tailgate tents. Next year there's to be a second row of tents in the second aisle of the parking lot. Aren't we fortunate to be in the first row?????

Yes we are. I wish the "no show" tent people would show up.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:According to Jacob Powers in his most recent email, there is a waiting list for those who now want tailgate tents. Based on conversations and recommendations that Herb (CrazieTowelGuy) and I had with Jacob, our tent cost will be ~same next year as this (probably $700 as there are 7 games instead of 6 as there are this year, so $100/game rent). The new tents will be considerably higher in cost.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:According to Jacob Powers in his most recent email, there is a waiting list for those who now want tailgate tents. Edit....Do you get to keep this year's banner? It would be a nice memento to hold onto, and it might find further use down the road (like at an away game, ...say at wake maybe.. )

Don't know. I'll ask Jacob at the next Brunchgate. Better to ask in person than in an email.CameronBornAndBred wrote: Edit....Do you get to keep this year's banner? It would be a nice memento to hold onto, and it might find further use down the road (like at an away game, ...say at wake maybe.. )

If you haven't bought one, I'm buying two (basketball tix) today, they are on sale at goduke.com. I'm getting the sideline premium, whatever that means...$25 each. You are welcome to one of them, I just figured I might as well get 2.wilson wrote:I need a ticket for the football game and would like a ticket to the basketball game. I would like for both to be as cheap as possible. Thank you.

Isn't it great that there is so much lively conversation about Duke football now? It's exciting to be part of the resurgence of a once proud tradition.
Another exciting change seems to be underway with the band. The recent announcement of news for the band alumni included a recruiting video featuring Coach K and Coach Cutcliffe talking about the role and importance of the band.

OK so, our parking passes are for different lots for FB and BB. I guess we have to move the car between games? Goofy.

Re: Brunchgate 10/24 Edition: Social Comments
If we do, then I gotta go find some place else to park...I wouldn't think it would be the same as a regular season game since this one has been sold to the public. They will cause a traffic nightmare if they do make us move...there will be too many people coming and going at the same time.Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:OK so, our parking passes are for different lots for FB and BB. Nope. According to the letter I got with my BB parking pass, BB parking will not be available next Saturday. So just take your FB pass and hang out at at the Brunchgate tent between games and cosume leftovers from earlier.
