I put this over on another thread, but I thought I'd put it here, too. We keep dancing around what to call that other place, and there are such ridiculous and difficult things to remember as TBTMNBN and TBTSNBN etc. I say we standardize it with TOBY or "that other board yo". Easy to remember, rolls off the keyboard, and sounds dorky. I admit that I like it over there, but they CAN get a little dorky sometimes over there. What do ya think?

TOBY - nice and short, and easy to remember. I like! Although, I was also fond of TBTMNBN. A fine salute to Harry Potter.

Which also makes US kind of dorky, eh? I admit, I like HP too, but come on. ;) And while I've had my differences with the folks over there, I don't think we need to equate them with Voldemort. Seems a little like the old elephant gun on the gnat, doesn't it?

I always took it as a bit of a tongue-in-cheek Voldemort reference.

Yeah, I know, but years from now, when we're still referring to it that way, the original purpose might be lost. Some people that are major supporters and don't have a sense of humor over there might take it wrong. I know that most over here don't care, but do we really feel the need to antagonize that way? Doesn't seem worth it to me.

Besides, TOBY's easy. I was going to just call it "TOB", but TOBY's more fun I thought. And dorkier. :ugeek:
