Close enough to his official visit to have a thread for him I think
New Article out on him:
http://scouthoops.scout.com/2/902653.html
Rest of his visits:
Oct. 2: Oklahoma
Oct. 9: UCLA
Oct. 16: Kansas
Oct. 23: Duke
Nov. 6: Iowa State (unofficial)
Quote:
"Initially not knowing what to expect while orchestrating the in-home and official visit schedules I didn't want to confine myself into making a fall decision without having adequate time to process all the information," Barnes said.
"I'm feeling confident what I once thought would be a regular signing period decision now will be an early signing period decision," he continued. "It has been humbling to see the support the six programs have shown me over the last year."

Good. Other than Iowa State, we will be the freshest in his memory when it is time to make a decision!!!
Pick the right one, Harrison.

Nah, just a copy of Duke's NLOI so Barnes and his family can 'review' it

Gosh, K really needs to win this one, bless his heart. This just got very worrisome with all this jockeying for position down the home stretch. Does anybody believe this stuff about the Barnes family actually phoning Williams?

Someone on the DBR had seriously mis-counted when they said the 'holes were "out of official contacts" after his attendance at the dump on the hump for the m.jordan show. I thought we had the last in-home and the last official on campus visits with him. I am a bit worried about this one but have no inside info. But I'll check...
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

Trying to stay optimistic, I keep telling myself that maybe these folks are really class acts and they just wanted to let ol' Roy down face to face before a commitment is made to Duke during this, the last Duke visit. Maybe? Huh?

I believe his visit is actually for the
weekend of the 23rd, which means he will probably be attending the exhibition game on the 24th...maybe even take in some of the football atmosphere that afternoon. It will be homecoming and there will be TONS of people in blue on campus to welcome him.

Maybe we can get a "flat" HB and a 3D Ozzie photo again ;)
.
Minor point: It's Parents Weekend. HC was against Central. ;)

I've heard it called both. I thought HC was the NCCU game as well.

There is a very good chance Harrison Barnes will be a Blue Devil, announcement set for Nov 12th, just be patient. After Kyrie, getting HB will be a boondoggle and Duke will again be FF material for a few years, maybe even this year;)
