Brunchgate 10-03 Edition: menu planning and attendance

I've got the extra dozen (rhymes with dumbo) eggs. Also picked up a tub of Philly cream cheese. Cream cheese on freedom toast is delish!

DD: I stopped by Lowe's to purchase mimosa stuff and pumpkin ale but was unable to find said pumpkin ale. I left a message on your cell phone seeking advice but alas, you didn't answer I ended up buying some oatmeal stout since oatmeal is for breakfast

I was resting up for dance class and a practice dance party tonight and got your message at about 1045 PM. Sorry. BUT, the oatmeal stout sounds like a good choice. Oatmeal. Dark beer. Pumpkin bread. Pee-cans. Chocolate chips. Sounds like a winning combination. Just like Lewis to Kelly and/or Renfree to Varner ;) .

TNTdevil (+4)- Cinnamon-raisin bread, Biscuits, Sausage, Bacon, Eggs, Hot dog buns, wings, Smoked chicken salad, cole slaw, iced tea, beers, and water. (Dropped the "Sticky Buns" as we seem to have plenty of breakfast sweets. May not need Zocor as much as we'll need insulin. )

Very Duke Blue (+3?)- diced onions, relish, hot-dog chili, beverages of an adult nature
Tilly- Chips & dip (I thought she said K68 wasn't coming ?) and crackers
DukePA- with Mimosas!

CathyCA (+3)- Beer bread, butter, jam, jelly. KrispyKreme donuts

I'll be getting there right at 8am if not a little sooner. The potatoes are made, but I'm going to reheat them on my little grill. They should be hot enough in time for brunch.

I always wait until the last minute, given the uncertainty or our life around here. But, it looks like we'll be there in the morning. I'll be totin' a sausage breakfast casserole.

I am LIKING the sound of that casserole.... .however, I am defiant and was just advised by CathyCA that I'm replying to the wrong thread,..... Ya know what.... Next up: Maryland on 10/24, which will also feature our men's basketball team - I'm sure y'all remember them - against Pfeiffer in an exhibition game. This will be a dual tailgate - before the first game and then between games. We won't know which game is first until TV sets the time for the football game. Hopefully there will be at least a couple of hours between games. TNT has already said he'll be getting there about 8 a.m., and the tents will be up at 8 as well.

I wish I had been there! They've been around a lot lately... Two of my soccer games in the past week. Two Duke football games in the past week. Man, I need to retire!!! (Or just go to Duke)
