I want to dread rain..but we played really well in it.CathyCA wrote: The weather forecast looks like we may have some rain on Saturday. Didn't we have enough rain to last the whole season this past Saturday?

Oh, cool! You took my off-topic sentence and moved it from the menu and RSVP thread to the appropriate social thread. WRAL continues to predict partly cloudy with a High of 21C. Chance of precip. 20%. Breezy, winds out of the SW @ 15-30Kph (which is why it will be so warm).CameronBornAndBred wrote:I want to dread rain..but we played really well in it.CathyCA wrote: The weather forecast looks like we may have some rain on Saturday. We may have more to fear from forest fires than rain.

On the WRAL web site, the current weather forecast for Durham includes a 30% chance of rain throughout the day and into the evening. In the afternoon there is a 30%+/- possibility of a thunderstorm. Wind speed will also pick up in the afternoon, most notably during the second half of the game.TNTDevil wrote:WRAL continues to predict partly cloudy with a High of 21C. Chance of precip. 20%. On Wednesday night's 11 pm weather, Greg Fishel said that any rain will occur during Friday night or early Saturday morning, affecting NEITHER high school games on Friday night nor Saturday college games! And the high temp on Saturday afternoon will only be ~83 F. When TNT and CB&B get to the Brunchgate, it will be in the upper 50's.Devil in the Blue Dress wrote:WRAL continues to predict partly cloudy with a High of 21C. Chance of precip. 20%. Re: Brunchgate 10/3 Edition: social discussion
I turned a nice color of red today...unevenly. The Brunchgate crowd was awesome, it was great seeing there, and he brought two wonderful beer offerings. Jarhead did show up right before game, and that was great to see him back as well. VeryDukeBlue and her hubby had some friends in from Tennessee to the game, and they also brought beer. From Tennessee! TNTdevil had a friend join us as well, with his great bloody mary mix. Even some folks from over yonder stopped by. My dad was there, and I didn't have to spend the whole game looking for him! (only half). We started early, ended late, and had a blast. We got a fun gang to hang with!
