Happy National Punctuation Day

Post by windsor » September 24th, 2009, 11:39 am

Seriously, http://www.nationalpunctuationday.com/

who thinks this stuff up!

I love the suggestions under 'how to celebrate'

Take a leisurely stroll, paying close attention to store signs with incorrectly punctuated words

is my favorite (I expect at least 3 CTNers to reply 'I do that every day'
All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.

For a minute, I thought I'd have to put this through an EBCDIC -> ASCII converter, then I realized I was in a different thread.
