Yes, my bottle of Lemoncello lives in the freezer. Think I might toast with it again tonight.DevilAlumna wrote:Ymmm, Lemoncello... do you keep yours in the freezer too?ArkieDukie wrote:Didn't make it to the store tonight, so I'm toasting at 9 PM CDT (10 PM EDT) with lemoncello. Re: The 10PM Toast
Post 2000
I've had to think longer about where I wanted to post my 2000th than what I've wanted to say. My thoughts come easy enough, as they should. CellR made the choice a little easier for me with his neighborhood bar analogy.
I could easily have posted this in the “what I like about crazietalk” thread, but after thinking of what those reasons are, I felt it would be best to share my 2000th with a toast. Toasts are cool, they are like my paintings. All of the good ones take some thought to create and are given away only to friends and family.
While I was the one to put the site online, it took all of us to get CTN up and running. CTN has been an awesome project put together by my friends from since its inception, when we were only a thought on facebook. All of us have come together to create such an enjoyable place; for CTN to be still strong and growing since those early April days is incredible, but not unbelievable. As I said earlier, I thought of “what I like about crazietalk”. I thought of tons of ideas and wrote some down, but in the end I realized that there were only 72 reasons that I needed. As of this toast, there are 72 members on CTN.
In the future, there will be more members, and maybe some of them will look back and read this. This toast is for them as well. This toast is for everyone who contributes to making CrazieTalk.Net one of the best websites on the internet.
I've reached my 2000th post. Some were deep thoughts, some were paintings, some were nothing but a smile. Absolutely none of them were not a joy to write, even if the thought was painful. To be able to share my thoughts, my ramblings, my artistic talents with all of you would be nothing if I wasn't sure I was sharing with friends. To be able to celebrate being a Duke fan with you all is nothing short of a great experience.
I raise my glass, filled with Titan IPA, to everyone reading this. You are the reason I go to Brunchgate. You are the reason I've posted 2000 times. You are the reason I like CrazieTalk. You are the reason we will always have more members than we do now.
GTHC!!! GO DUKE!!!!

Seconded. It's been really fun in here to become unabashedly loving friends, since the OTB apparently wasn't "our personal support group" (sorry for the slight downer there).TillyGalore wrote:Thank you for putting CTN together and maintaining the site.

Thank you, Chris, for all you've done to make this board possible. It's wonderful to have a place to talk with friends who share some of the same interests (Duke and a host of other topics)in a civil environment. I'm sure my blood pressure has benefited!
