IT IS ON! ON LIKE DONKEY-KONG!!!!
Grill lit @ 9:22am (had to wait on the tent crew to figure out where we should set up.)
Brisket meets grill- precisely @ 10am!
Our spot is S-W-E-E-T! We can erect a separate tent/EZ-UP.
Signs are indicating all "Public" parking will be off Erwin Road, so be prepared.
Stay tuned...
ETA: No trains where harmed in the establishment of this tailgate. ;)
(Special thanks to Adam, who allowed us use of his login to get on the Duke Interweb.)

Nice going, TNT!
I'm not playing golf this morning, so I'll be there early afternoon rather than @ 3 pm. Is CB&B there yet?

Can you tell me exactly where the tent is located?
I'll have my GPS!

The tent is in the Card Gym Lot. How much more info do you need?

I'm dragging two 75 year-old ladies around with me. I'm trying to get them there with as little wandering involved as possible. I'll be their pack mule, dragging their chairs, the corn, drinks, chips and guacamole, and I'd prefer not to wander through the Card Gym lot, as well. Plus, I'll be supervising two 12 year olds along the way.
Why don't I call you when I get there and you can meet me at my parking place and escort us to the tent, and carry a few things for me?

That would work, or, drive up Towerview and drop the ladies and your stuff off at the entrance to Card before driving to your parking spot. That would minimize their walk and our toting! Call me as you are approaching the lot.

Okey-dokey, things going very smoothly here now. CB&B has made an appearance and dropped his gear.
Brisket s busy "brisketing"... Generator up... tunes cranked. Satellite dish is next...
CathyCA, if you cruise up early enough, I'm certain that the parking nazi will allow you to drop your guests and gear at the site.
All tents are up now (20 in total). Ours is, by some fluke, in the most excellent spot. Lots of shade.I'm still the lone ranger. Check that... looks like some company just arrived...

Thanks for the update - everything sounds great! Expect me sometime between 1 and 1:30. Time to head out and buy the ice and load up the cooler when I get back home. It's an hour drive once I leave for Duke.

Really starting to rock now... First neighbors arrived (from Mississippi no less!).
Satellite dish up and running. Syracuse on "The Deuce" and App. State v ECU on the "U".
Ugh! Paulus' first snap clear over his head for a TO. Turns into a score for the Gophers.
Nice shade. Kickin' tunes... look at the time... beer o'clock!
Stay tuned.

Was he in shot gun formation and the snap went over his head? Or was the TO somehow his fault?
8 yard gain on his first scramble!

It's pleasant and enjoyable to read the comments over here about Paulus and his play!
I'll finish loading the car in a few minutes. need to make a quick stop to fill up with gas and then I'll be on my way to Greensboro for the first stop in the Game Day Tailgate Tour bound for the Card Gym Lot.
After reading Tim's description of 20 tents instead of 18, I'm worried that my little tent will be over in the area with the port-o-lets!
