What the hell is a Hot Brown?
I'm having Tacos with eggs, pico de gallo, pepper jack cheese, and black beans at the delightful little diner across the street from Emory right now.
And coffee.

I was just going to ask the same thing!
Lunch: King of Queens sandwich from Gandolfo's Deli
http://www.gandolfosdeli.com/doc/Gandolfos_menu.pdf - pastrami, cole slaw, tomato and Russian dressing on a kaiser roll. Add Sun Chips and a root beer to drink. Good stuff!

Hmmmm..that sounds interesting..like a southernized Reuben. I'll have to try that.

I'd never heard of a Hot Brown. It sounds de-luscious!

It's certainly an adaptation of a Reuben, but these guys (the Gandolpho family) are from NY. And it is absolutely delicious! And it is best when the pastrami is warm (and everything else is cold).

9/1 breakfast: NO BAGEL. Instead, a small glass of OJ and a small bowl of cinnamon raisin Smart Start (?) cereal with milk and a bananananana.

I would think hot browns would fit well on the Waffle House menu.

Y'all need to visit us in Kentucky for real Hot Browns. However, I strongly encourage folks to look up Bobby Flay's Hot Brown recipe from his series "Throwdown."
