According to ESPN, Brett Favre pulled it again and is now a Viking. When did two a days end? ;)

All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.

That would be fun, though. Vick vs. Favre. Some people on this site might explode.

Yawn. This guys takes athlete narcissism to a whole new level, beyond even T.O. and Ochocinco.
The goods news? He plays a team this year that will punish every single flaw in his now-tattered game. The Pittsburgh Steelers have made far better QBs than Favre (currently is) look silly.

Re: Brett Favre is a Viking...
After looking at the Vikings schedule, I see them going 9-7 at best.
Games I'm near certain they will win:
Detroit x2
Cleveland
St. Louis
San Francisco
Games I'm near certain they will lose:
Green Bay x2
Baltimore
Pittsburgh
Arizona
Carolina
@Chicago
Games I'm up-in-the-air about:
vs. Chicago
NYG
Cincinnati
Seattle
If I'm right, they're 5-7 on the certain games and need to win all of the uncertain games in order to be in the playoff discussion. Last year Favre's arm gave out around week 13. This year, week 13 comes before both the NYG and Cincy games. The second Chicago game and the Seattle game are weeks 11 and 12. If I were a Viking fan, I wouldn't be optimistic. Once Favre's arm gives out, the team will have to go to one of the two QBs that got benched because of today's events. Sounds like a recipe for a championship...
