Here she is in HBO's "True Blood". You may also recognize her as Rogue from the X-Men movies or from her role in The Piano, which earned her an Academy Aware for Best Supporting Actress. I saw her on Tavis Smiley last night, and was really impressed with her demeanor. She seemed calm, comfortable in her own skin, and was well-spoken. Now if I could only find a picture of her diastema.

So is it a genetic trait? If Anna accepts my marriage proposal, and we made Little Miles and Little Anna, would they also have a diastema? I hope so, they rule!

I don't have a diastema, at least I don't think I do. My mom got one when she was between dental works, but when the put in the bridges, it closed back up.

I do, however, have some HONKIN' canines. Upper and lower. Even my baby teeth were huge. I couldn't wear those vampire teeth cause my canines would break them. They had to file them down with a diamond file. Three times. My adult ones aren't QUITE so outsized, but the lower ones are bigger, relatively, than the baby versions were (they're now about the same size as the uppers). My friends used to call me a vampire. Now, thanks to the hair, I look more like a werewolf.
