I saw some references that there are a handful/bunch of billionaires/tech bros that would like to set up their own country. Some speculate this is part of that plan.

Other than that, I haven’t seen anything that makes sense. But perhaps there is no reason that makes sense.

I think Greenland is pretty rich in natural resources, possibly including those Musk could use for batteries.

I agree with others that I would do the tradeoff of using it for resources if it could also serve as a penal colony. If you think Trump won in 2020, you must move to Greenland. Seems like a fair trade. The average IQ would be lower than the temperature. And they can take all of their assault rifles with them.

What is Hair Furor’s endgame with Greenland? Is it a distraction from his New York sentencing or from upcoming confirmation hearings? A way to demonstrate to Putin and Netanyahu that he has expansionist desires too? There has to be money in it for him … but where?

Here’s another theory. On the flat earther map (Mercator projection), Greenland is the same size as Africa. In reality, Africa is 20x bigger. So, maybe Trump wants Greenland because he thinks it is a really big country. As I think has been mentioned, Trump is an idiot.

As a reminder of what the last Trump term was like and what we have to look forward to. He is going around blaming everyone else for the wildfires in California. Why is everything always the other side's fault? Why can't he try to solve problems rather than constantly blaming? Why is he a pathetic low class childish insecure loser (I wish Biden or Harris had called him this in one of the debates to get a rise out of him)? Why were so many Americans dumb enough to fall for his garbage and not find all of this problematic and disqualifying? Why am I frightened for the country my children are growing up in?

Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci and members of Congress who served on the committee investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, using extraordinary executive prerogative as a shield against revenge by his incoming successor, Donald Trump.

The pardons, coming in the final hours of Biden’s presidency, amount to a stunning flex of presidential power that is unprecedented in recent presidential history. They serve to protect several outspoken critics of the incoming president, including former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney, whom Trump has vowed retribution against.

Yup. It is so sad that so much of America feeds off of this anger, nastiness and hatred. They would argue that the rest of us are doing the same thing towards Trump, but it is not the same. They have all fallen victims to his lies, narcissism and ridiculousness. It is going to be a very long four years. His guiding philosophy is to do whatever the heck he wants and then let the other side try to stop him in court.

I wish all of his people would just move to Greenland. No offense to the good people of Greenland.

LOL. Fair point. Just did some googling. Greenland has a population under 60,000 but is three times the size of Texas. So lots of room for all the MAGA idiots and the natives can stay far away.

I’m pretty sure Trump’s desire for Greenland is due almost exclusively to land size. That’s how is disordered child-like mind operates.
