Same comparison came to mind. The irony of Petrino as his OC, should he stick around, is mighty thick. Also, I’d like to point out that the Petrino departure you mentioned was to take the Arkansas job. Recall that he was fired from AR after he hired his girlfriend for a job with the athletics department, over other more qualified applicants, and then lied to the Athletic Director about the whole mess. There’s a lot more to the story; that’s the nutshell. All goes to ethics, which are seriously lacking. I wouldn’t have thought Mike Elko was cut from the same cloth. I was wrong.
