Golf on Saturday went well until the 15th hole, where the Rev. LG plunked the only goose in the pond with his first shot and I had the giggles for the rest of the round.

Good morning. 2 1/2 days of the NC Rural Water Association conference starts today with table top show set up this afternoon. It’s in Winston Salem. But first their annual golf tournament, this year at Tanglewood in Clemmons. We’re playing their Championship course, where the PGA tournament was played back in the 1970’s! Wish it was played in May when it would be warm, instead of mid March with temps in the low 50’s. Oh, wait, it is May 10th. Tee off time is 8:30.

I texted my friend Ashleigh from the golf cart. Told her that he had hit a goose. She texted back, "Oh no! Did he kill it?"
I texted her back immediately, "No, he just winged it." Then I realized what I had said. Got the giggles again.
