The last time the sheep lost back to back games by more than 20, was in 2002. Both teams they lost to were in the top 20. The last time they lost by more than 20 to two unranked teams, back to back, was 1955.

Hell, what's not to thoroughly like and enjoy about a perfect basketball day in the Triangle/Triad and our lives:

1. Duke wins
2. WF wins
3. NCSU wins (our local team)
4. cheats lose decisively

Finally the energy, effort and toughness weren't the issue. The players just aren't good enough; a sad and uncomfortable truth for North Carolina basketball.

"You're playing against better players," Hubert Davis said after a 98-76 loss to Wake Forest, his team's second twenty point plus loss in a week. "Williamson, Williams, and Laravia were the best players on the floor and it wasn't even close."

Bottom line is the want to is not there from these players, and Hubert has possibly lost this team by talking to much instead of calling them for what they are, lazy. I’m sure most of the dudes on this roster are great people from great backgrounds and families. But I’d take a bunch of three star Luke Mayes that play with everything they have than a bunch of pre madonnas worried about NIL and their name on the back. And if they were worried about their name on the back they would take more pride in their play. Idk if Hubert is the coach of the future for UNC. I believe Wes Miller is the long term answer.

Pre Madonnas? Before which Madonna? Meaning people in the Old Testament, or 1970’s music? I could make a case for either.

I didn't want to gloat over the Heels' women getting drubbed yesterday until Duke won their own game. They did (but not in a good game against a bad team.)
