Format- 1/2 quart can
Stemware-large wine glass
Appearance-pineapple grapefruit juice on CO2
Nose-tropical fruit juice blend
Mouthfeel-freshly squeezed and zested
Tastes-grapefruit, lemon lime, tangerine, mango and a splash of papaya
Hops-Citra, Mosaic cryo pellets and Galaxy
IBU-“no IBU” but, being slightly smarter than I look, I’ll guess <50
ABV-9%
Overall impression-pull up another chair, Burial, there’s another terrific NC brewer in the 'hood
Ymm, Beer rating-mid cat 3; would side-by-side with anything Burial or Veil; still waiting for my Tree House and/or Trillium deliveries… :star_struck:

Style-tequila barrel aged grapefruited imperial gose
Format-12 ounce bottle
Stemware-Founders snifter
Appearance-cloudy, pinkish amber with a small head
Nose-agave and grapefruit
Mouthfeel-a bit of syrup
Tastes-grapefruit syrup (WTH?), agave, tequila, pinch of salt, wood
Adjuncts-sea salt and grapefruit juice
IBU-<10
ABV-9.7% (holy :poop:, a gose :scream:)
Overall impression-as good as I remember from 2020 (wait, something good from 2020 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)
Ymm, Beer rating-mid cat 3; I’ve never had a Paloma cocktail but it’d had to be made with fresh ingredients to be better than this

Credit-couldn’t resist
Style-tequila barrel aged and fruited imperial gose
Format-12 ounce bottle
Stemware-Founders snifter
Appearance-a clean, brilliant fuchsia with a smallish, pink head
Nose-berries and booze
Mouthfeel-almost cloying yet a bit tart
Tastes-cranberry, raspberry, tequila, wood and a kiss of salt
Adjuncts-prickly pear extract, sea salt
IBU-<10
ABV-9.7%; truly dangerous
Overall impression-take equal parts of Raspberry Tart, Cranbic, Blushing Monk, tequila reposado (sorry, TW, no vodka :stuck_out_tongue:) and a pinch of salt and pour over ice; outstanding addition to the Mas Agave line
Ymm, Beer rating-top shelf cat 3; better than the grapefruit and I’ll let you know tomorrow if I think it’s better than the lime version :wink:

Overall impression-a great concoction
Ymm, Beer rating-cat 3.99; just as good this year as last year; it’s better than Prickly Pear, but not dramatically; delighted to have bought a 4 pack and will share with family next week

Style-push up pop style fruited sour ale/Berliner Weisse; milkshake sour?
Format-pint can
Stemware-nonic pint
Appearance- a box of melted lemon/peach push up pops, shaken and stirred; “hey, what’s that swimming in my beer?” :flushed:
Nose-sour peaches
Mouthfeel-see appearance
Tastes-peach, lemon /limeade, vanilla, cream
Adjuncts-peaches, vanilla, lactose, pastry cream (WTH; next thing you know, someone will be shit posting some inane garbage about poptarts)
IBU-likely <10
ABV-6%
Overall impression-a boozesicle; despite all the apparent wailing, this was pretty good
Ymm, Beer rating-high cat 2 for creativity and making it taste like it read; points deducted for the rather unappealing appearance and strangeness but worth a single or a share; yes, it was even worth “stealing” from our daughter :crazy_face:

Stemware-Gouden Carolus chalice, because they have 8 ounce lines on them
Appearance-beer ain’t pulpy and reddish purple; surprisingly large, dark pink head for a gose
Nose-berries and berries
Mouthfeel-smoothie
Tastes-raspberry beret, err, puree along with lemon/lime, sorbet and a hint of salt
Adjuncts-triple raspberries
IBU-kidding, right?
ABV-10% (a booze shake)
Overall impression-amazing
Ymm, Beer rating-mid cat 3; can’t decide if we liked this or the Pineapple Whip Orange Swirl variant better

Stemware-snifters
Appearance-“it was a dark and stormy night” with a rim of tan foam
Nose-java and bourbon
Mouthfeel-lubricious
Tastes-as advertised/expected, coffee, bourbon, coconut and maple with a generous drizzle of dark caramel and a sprinkling of char
Adjuncts-maple, coconut and coffee
Grains-2 Row, roasted barley, chocolate malt, flaked oats
Yeast-American house strain (for you brewnerds out there)
IBU-apparently, a secret, but I’ll guess 60 based on the style
ABV-12.5% :partying_face:
Overall impression-delectable; was dessert #1 last PM
Ymm, Beer rating-mid/upper cat 3; tough to have any criticism of this concoction except it is on the spendy side

Tastes-Mounds bar, shot of espresso, splash of vanilla syrup, dark caramel

Overall impression-addicting; another gem from Wolf’s Ridge

Mouthfeel-soft
Tastes-corn syrup (not high fructose), floral bitterness, light caramel
Adjuncts-corn and rice (Untapped sez so)
IBU-probably 25
ABV-3.5% (I coulda had 6 of these)
Overall impression-simple yet tasty
Ymm, Beer rating-high cat 2; nothing sexy but a good pairing with some fries, a kale salad and chicken nuggets

Format-normal looking cylinder but the other 3 cans from the 4 pack were “outdented” (first bad sign)

Overall impression-spoiled/turned/hyperfermented/stale beer

I had 2 ounces (on call) and our younger son-in-law had the other 14 ounces and couldn’t finish it. I expected as much when I saw the 3 other cans but chilled the normal appearing can anyway and we were both edjumacated.

Appearance-first 8 ounces each glass was slightly cloudy, orange bronzy; remainder was turbid
Nose-ginger, bourbon, orange
Mouthfeel-soft and bubbly
Tastes-orange, bourbon, ginger zing, drizzle of honey sweetness and some garden flowers with an attitude
Adjuncts-honey and ginger
Hops-New Zealand Sterling and Montueka (from memory as I left the bottle at home)
IBU-probably 30s
ABV-13.5%; not lethal but deceptive
Overall impression-another quality concoction from the RVA area
Ymm, Beer rating-low cat 3; a notch or 1.5 notches below the BBA Ardent Honey Ginger

Appearance-darn near onyx; 3-4 bubble head :scream:
Nose-alcohol, char, dark chocolate, espresso; no adjuncts
Mouthfeel-smooth and warming
Tastes-dark chocolate, burnt caramel, dark/dried fruits, char, espresso
IBU-probably 50s
ABV-16% (no typo :eyes:)
Overall impression-still a world class beer; pretty ambitious to have this following a 14% ABV large format bottle, taking about another hour to sip 6 ounces each of this one :blush:

Style-Foeder aged Brettanomyces farmhouse ale fermented with a pound and a half of fresh, whole peaches per gallon
Format-12 ounce bottle
Stemware-small chalices
Appearance-slightly cloudy pale orange with a small bubbly head
Nose-wet hay and peach jam
Mouthfeel-it tickled
Tastes-matched the nose with some lemon/lime tartness
Adjuncts-sounds like millions of peaches, probably from the country
IBU-maybe 10; tart/sour, not bitter, if that makes sense
ABV-5.9%
Overall impression-as others had said, it’s how WW made their rep; damn good sour/farmhouse ale

Adjuncts-marshmallow, coconut, walnut, cacao nibs, Tahitian vanilla beans and Ghirardelli dark chocolate (kitchen sink not included :roll_eyes:)
IBU-who cares?!?!
ABV-13.5%; stunning
Overall impression-amazing creation; our son thought it was by far the best beer he had on his week long trip to NC
