Goodnight Moon

I figured there is a good morning thread, a good morfternoon thread, and a middle of the night thread...so why not have a good night thread inspired by the wonderful children’s book, Good Night Moon.

Did any of you hear the 99% Invisible podcast about Goodnight Moon and the New York Public Library? Apparently when the book came out the head librarian at NYPL didn’t like it, and as a consequence it wasn’t picked up by the library for decades.

I really recommend 99% Invisible. For the information, or for Roman Mars’ soothing voice, which could put a meth head to sleep. :9f:

If I had a nickel for every time I read that book to my kids, I would be very wealthy. I'm not sure why it is so popular, but both of my kids really loved to stage whisper the word "hush."
