Lemon-Lime Soda Throwdown
THIS is the soda Battle Royale:
7Up
Sprite
Sierra Mist
And one or two others.

Sprite.
I rarely drink lemon-lime sodas, but if/when I do, it's Sprite, since that's the Coke option (yes, I really do get down like that). I've never even had Sierra Mist. They launched it, what, 4 or 5 years ago? That was long after I vowed, even in a pinch, never to drink Pepsi products.*
*Confession: I still drink Gatorade. Pepsi bought it about 5 years ago, and this pains me. But Gatorade is really good stuff when you need that kind of thing.

Sprite is the best. I refuse to drink 7-up. Sierra Mist is an ok alternative.

SLICE was the earlier incarnation from Pepsico.wilson wrote:Sprite.

I can not believe you prefer Gatorade over Powerade. WE prefer Powerade. MUCH better than G (or whatever they're calling it now).

It has more to do with a single flavor than anything else...I really like Citrus Cooler Gatorade (I refuse to call it "G," and incidentally, I think it was really dumb of them to just throw that brand heritage out the window). Too many Powerade flavors seem to be blue...it looks like wiper fluid. Or maybe anti-freeze.Lavabe wrote: I can not believe you prefer Gatorade over Powerade. WE prefer Powerade. Doesn't Mountain Dew qualify as lemon-lime?

I suppose it has as much of a natural flavor as cola-products do. Whatever flavor it is, I'm not having it.DukeUsul wrote:Does Mountain Dew actually have a flavor?

Re: Lemon-Lime Soda Throwdown
but 7-UP or Sprite are fine if my other option is a Coke.
