Wish I could post this 2-minute video OY. Jon Meacham on Brayden Harrington...and us as Americans:

I enjoy Meacham on any subject.

Not a needle mover, but a dozen or so past GOP reps are endorsing Biden today, the first day of the RNC.
Former Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona and former Rep. Charlie Dent of Pennsylvania are among those throwing their support behind the Democratic presidential nominee through "Republicans for Biden," and the endorsements come on the morning of the first day of the Republican National Convention.

TikTok users left so many one-star reviews on Donald Trump's 2020 campaign app that Apple had to reset the app's rating, TechCrunch reports.

According to data from Sensor Tower the TikTok fans, apparently angry with Trump's attacks on the popular video-sharing platform, posted reviews saying the Trump 2020 app was buggy, glitchy, and that it stole personal information. The last complaint appears to be a satirical swipe at the Trump administration's claims TikTok relays US user data to the Chinese government.

Kicking off your convention by saying that COVID is at fault for the ills of the country and that the Democrats are using it to steal the election isn't the shining start that many were promised.
"What they're doing is using Covid to steal an election. They're using Covid to defraud the American people, all of our people, of a fair and free election," Trump said, without evidence, to applause from GOP delegates, who were gathering in North Carolina to conduct the formal business of the party convention.
Of course nobody in his camp is going to point out the fact that if he had shown even an inkling of leadership during the pandemic, it might not be such an issue right now.

I’m listening to the RNC right now. Holy cow. Highly produced propaganda. Didn’t Cheeto hire producers from The Apprentice to put all this together?

I keep going in and out. It started off with propagation of fear and a dismal outlook. And it hasn't gotten much brighter.

His bouncing is gonna drive me nuts, and I've only watched for less than a minute.

Listening to Cheeto Jr right now. More propaganda. Something looks off with him. The glare under his eyes, and his dead eyes, are kinda creepy.

Maybe he has to be drunk and/or high to spout this drivel?

I thought the RNC had promised a positive convention. What I heard the entire time was that the Democratic Party is out to destroy the country and the only thing that can possibly save it is another four years of Trump. Did I miss the positivity?

Wonder if Trump will have a permanent effect upon the evangelical community. It's not the monolith he thinks it is. I've said it many times, Trump has empowered these people (not evangelicals, but the fringe) and they're not going to go away quietly.

They’re positive it will happen if Trump loses.

Agree. What I've seen is a convention of fear.
And pandering. The pardon and the citizenship ceremonies last night were bizarre.
