Good morning. Yesterday did not go well. It started raining on the 8th hole. Raining hard on the ninth tee, we decided to wait until the small shower passed over. Then the lightning horn sounded and we went in. The storm, which radar confirmed literally started over central Greensboro and did not move for over 2 hours. We had a 3 hour rain delay to allow the course to drain enough to be playable. Play resumed but the driving range was closed because it was too wet. So no warmup before resuming play. My back did not like this. I could barely swing and those swings, and resulting shots, were very ugly. Drives, and I use the term loosely, were consecutive 90 yard duck hooks into hazards,
losing my ball. I withdrew after playing #12. 9-12 were four consecutive triple bogeys. It being a two day tournament, I don’t get to play today. Bummer. ~O) :9f:
